CSR*, Luxéol's commitment to society

Our company, Nutravalia, is best known for our flagship brand of Luxéol hair care products.
We are a company on a human scale, committed to CSR* in both its environmental and social aspects, and we want to make a positive contribution to the society in which we live.

We wished to have our commitment recognized by having ourselves audited at the end of 2022. Following this audit, AFNOR Certification awarded us the "Engagé RSE* et Responsibility Europe" label.

Product formulation

We offer new cosmetic products with natural-origin formulas. And we reformulate our existing products with the aim of further increasing the percentage of ingredients of natural origin and eliminating certain ingredients in order to concentrate on essential active ingredients. Our dietary supplements are formulated with active ingredients such as plants, vitamins, minerals and other substances, combined with additives essential for the proper manufacture of the product.

Waste reduction

We are reducing unnecessary packaging, sending out product catalogs and have done away with paper leaflets in order to reduce waste. We are committed to using more and more packaging made from recycled and recyclable materials. The packaging for all our shampoos, conditioners and masks is replaced as production progresses, to include recycled materials.

Consumer awareness messages

We are keen to raise consumer awareness at every opportunity, for example by making them aware of the need to limit water consumption during the application of our rinse-off products (hair masks, conditioners), which also reduces energy consumption. We also provide a page explaining how to recycle our product packaging.

Aware of the importance of quality of life at work, we provide employees with pleasant premises and regularly organize federative events. We also encourage volunteer employees to take part in solidarity initiatives. Finally, in the interests of transparency, management is keen to keep employees informed of the company's strategic developments and progress in terms of CSR*.

Support for associations

Because we want to support their causes and because we share their values, we are involved with a number of organizations.

Helping to clean up ports:

We have been involved with the Coiffeurs Justes association since January 2024. Our commitment is equivalent to the manufacture and installation of hair socks to clean up 1 million liters of hydrocarbons in seaports and river areas.
Wigs for cancer sufferers:

We're also supporting the Fake Hair Don't Care association by funding the equivalent of the salary of one of the association's wigmakers for one year in 2024, as she makes wigs from donated hair for cancer sufferers.
